Tunewide is a free online radio player. It streams live stations that are already broadcasting on the internet — no account, no installation, nothing to configure. Open a country, pick a station and it starts playing.
Every station is checked to be live and to stream over a secure connection, so nothing is silently blocked by your browser. The list covers over 200 countries, from national broadcasters to small local stations.
Stations you like can be saved as favourites, stored in your own browser, so they are there the next time you visit — nothing is sent anywhere and no account is needed.
What this site is for. Streaming services build playlists from what an algorithm thinks you want. Radio does the opposite: a person somewhere chose this song, this news bulletin, this advert, for an audience that is listening at the same moment. That is the whole point of listening to a station from another country — you hear what people there actually hear, not a recommendation built for you.
What you get here. A catalogue of about six thousand stations, each one checked before publishing, grouped by country and by genre. A player that keeps working while you move between pages, remembers your favourites without an account, and shows the track currently playing for stations that broadcast that information. On a phone it appears on the lock screen with artwork and controls, like a normal music app.
How the list is kept honest. Public radio directories are full of dead links: roughly one station in four stops responding within a week. Every stream here is tested before it appears, and the whole catalogue is rebuilt weekly, so stations that went offline disappear and new ones show up. Only streams that work over a secure connection are included — the rest are silently blocked by browsers, which is why other sites have so many buttons that do nothing.
What it costs. Nothing, and there is nothing to sign up for. The site does not host or re-transmit audio: your browser connects straight to the station, exactly as a media player would. Your favourites never leave your device.

Will my favourites still be there next time?
Yes, as long as you use the same browser and do not clear its site data. They are stored on your device, not on our server, so no account is needed.
Can I listen while browsing other pages?
Yes. Moving between pages on this site does not interrupt playback. Switching to another browser tab does not stop it either.
Why do some stations not play?
Stations go offline without warning. When that happens the player says so and moves to the next station in the list. The catalogue is rebuilt weekly to remove ones that stay dead.
